My present research focuses on host-parasite evolution of avian malaria, the effects of haemosporidian parasites on host fitness traits, and within-lineage competition in malaria double infections. I am also interested on carry-over effects of bird migration.
Ecology & Diseases
Postdoc researcher.
My interest remain in the transcriptomical gene expression of the parasite and the host.
Genomics & Bioinformatic

Postdoc researcher.
I am focused on the uropygial gland and its applications against malaria parasite transmission.

My main goal is to carry out experiments and research according to protocols laid out by primary researchers.

My research is focused on migratory ecology of passerine birds and global change biology.
Migratory connectivity & carry-over effects
Postdoc researcher.
My main line of research is maternal effects followed by host-parasite interactions and immunocompetence.
Evolutionary ecophysiologist
Biology and evolution teacher and a great interested in bird communities. An expert on bird biology and their interactions.

My research explores the evolutionary and ecological outcomes of host-pathogen interactions, both from the host and the pathogens points of view. I use molecular methods on wild host and pathogens in order to understand their evolutionary history and current population structures.

Climate change issues are attracting rapidly increasing interest from a wide range of biologists due to their unprecedented effects on global biodiversity, although there remains a lack of general knowledge as to the environmental consequences of such rapid change.

Global change is accelerating rapidly and includes climate, land use, and land cover changes among others. Important forms of land use change for birds are habitat loss such as deforestation and habitat modifications such as intensification of land use.
Postdoc researcher (JdC - Formación)
I'm working on the transmission dynamics of vector-borne diseases transmitted
by mosquitoes.
